Creamy Hemp Turmeric Dressing

This dressing is a delicious merging of hemp seeds, preserved limes, turmeric, and the best hack for inviting an extra layer of whipped creaminess: aquafaba. We recommend enjoying poured over a bed of fresh greens or dipping straight in with freshly made kale chips. Happy spreading, dipping, and enjoying!


- 1/2 cup hemp seeds
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 can aquafaba
- 1 tbsp Monfefo turmeric shot
- optional: preserved lime


Blend hemp seeds, cayenne pepper, nutritional yeast, salt, aquafaba, turmeric, and preserved limes on high until smooth. To collect your aqauafaba, simply drain the liquid of a can of chickpeas. If enjoying a salad, use the chickpeas by rinsing and then coating them with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast at 425 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until crispy and combine with chopped apples, avocado, kale, arugula, and a fresh squeeze of lemon and top generously with dressing.


If enjoying the dressing with kale chips, massage a whole bunch of lacinato kale with 1 tbsp olive oil and 2 tbsp of the above dressing. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and let bake for 10-15 minutes or until they begin to crisp without burning. Serve alongside the dressing as a creamy dip!
