Monfefo stands for the ginger monster that goes fe-fi-fo fum. The story goes that one day a girl found some seeds by the waters of Hawaii. She planted the seeds and out grew a long ginger stalk. She climbed up the stalk and was greeted by Monfefo. This wise old giant saw the problems down below and told this girl, that she could not change the way things are, but together we can change what will be. This ginger root, the monster said is nature’s goodness.

Since 2014, Monfefo has been handcrafting cold-pressed beverages in a USDA certified organic factory in Brooklyn, NY. We source the highest quality organic root produce from sustainable farms in Peru.
Once we receive the fresh produce, we triple wash everything with filtered water. We then gently grind the produce and cold-press the roots. Thus, our products contain no additives, preservatives, artificial ingredients or sweeteners.
Plastic is a big problem in our world. As of November 2019, we’ve eliminated plastic bottle waste at Monfefo. Our duo of products come in 2 oz shots, all of which can be found in fully recyclable glass bottles. Every Monfefo shot is truly raw and organic. Thanks to the low pH of our product combined with temperature control, none of our shots are pasteurized.
